Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 23, 2026
By accessing or using the website and services of Voltis L.L.C. d/b/a Voltis Tech Reef ("Voltis Tech Reef", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You are hiring Voltis Tech Reef to design, develop, and maintain a website for a monthly subscription fee.
1. Service Subscription & Scope
VTreef operates on a "Website as a Service" (WaaS) model. All services provided are digital in nature and delivered via electronic transmission. No tangible property is transferred. The scope of your service depends on the plan selected:
A. Starter Plan
- Professional 5-Page Website Design & Development.
- Secure Managed Hosting & SSL Certificate.
- Maintenance: Includes up to 1 hour of content updates or support per month. Additional work is billed at our hourly rate.
B. Growth Plan
- Includes all features of the Starter Plan.
- Advanced Local SEO & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
- Unlimited Minor Updates: You may request unlimited text edits, image swaps, and blog uploads. These are typically completed within 2 business days.
C. General Exclusions (All Plans)
- Major structural redesigns (changing the entire layout/theme).
- Custom software development or heavy backend functionality.
- Adding e-commerce stores or membership portals (unless quoted separately).
- These exclusions are billed at our standard hourly rate of $75/hr.
2. Billing and Cancellation
- Monthly Payments: Services are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Stripe. The specific rate is determined by your selected plan (Starter or Growth) at checkout.
- Domain Ownership: You (the Client) must purchase and maintain ownership of your domain name. You are responsible for annual domain renewal fees.
- Cancellation: This is a month-to-month service. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice by emailing aadak@vtreef.com.
- Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, hosting will be discontinued at the end of the billing cycle. You may export your text and image content, but the VTreef proprietary design, code structure, and theme files remain the property of VTreef.
- Late Payments: If payment fails and is not resolved within 30 days, your website may be temporarily unpublished until the balance is paid.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
- What You Own: You retain 100% ownership of the text content, photographs, logos, and branding assets you provide to us.
- What We Own: VTreef retains ownership of the underlying HTML/CSS code, design layout, and framework used to power your site. This allows us to license the site to you at an affordable monthly rate rather than a large upfront cost.
- Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to display your completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a successful project, you agree to:
- Provide requested content (text, images) in a timely manner.
- Review and approve work within reasonable timeframes.
- Ensure you have the legal right to use all images and text you provide to us.
5. Limitation of Liability
VTreef is not liable for any lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental damages arising from the operation of or inability to operate the website. While we aim for perfect uptime and error-free code, we cannot guarantee specific results or compatibility with obsolete browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer).
Form Submissions & Technology: We are not responsible for technical errors in form submissions, email deliverability issues, or third-party spam filtering. However, we will make every reasonable, professional effort to ensure reliable communication channels and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes regarding these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of our home jurisdiction.
